The online application process for the Delhi University Recruitment for the Non-Teaching Vacancies started on 11 January 2024. - Senior Technical Assistant: Applicants need a B.E./B.Tech. in a relevant field or a three-year diploma with ten years of experience.
- Technical Assistant: Requires a three-year diploma in a relevant field with five years of experience.
- Laboratory Assistant: Candidates should have a three-year diploma or have passed the 10th class with ITI and relevant experience.
- Laboratory Attendant: This position is open to individuals who have passed the 10th class with ITI and have two years of experience.
- For Senior Technical Assistant, Technical Assistant, Laboratory Assistant – The upper age limit is 35 years of age.
- For Laboratory Attendant – The upper age limit is 30 years of age.
- For Unreserved Category Candidates – ₹1000/-
- For OBC (NCL)/EWS and Women Category Candidates – ₹800
- For SC/ST and PwBD Category Candidates – ₹600
The selection process for the Delhi University (DU) Recruitment 2024 for Non-Teaching posts consists of two main stages:
- Written Test: Candidates will first undergo a written test, which is designed to test their knowledge, skills, and suitability for the respective roles. The written test lasts 2 hours, and it carries a maximum of 400 marks. The test comprises compulsory questions, with each question carrying 04 marks. There is a negative marking scheme where a 01 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Skill Test: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a skill test following the written test. This test aims to evaluate the practical abilities of the candidates relevant to the job they are applying for. The skill test lasts 1 hour and includes questions worth 100 marks. The format may vary, including descriptive/MCQ-based questions and practical tests, depending on the specific requirements of each post.
