SSC GD Admit Card 2024 Released at ssc.nic.in, Check Application Status, Region Wise Links

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct a written examination for those candidates who have submitted a valid online application form for the Constable (General Duty) vacancies. The SSC GD Admit Card 2024 will be released when the board announces the examination schedules.

The examination will be conducted in February and March 2024. Candidates are advised to be prepared for the written test as the commission has announced the SSC GD Constable Exam Dates. On this webpage, candidates will find all the details about the hall ticket, GD Constable exam date, selection process, paper pattern, etc.

Applicants will get the SSC Constable Admit Card at least one or two weeks before the examination date. Aspirants will need their online application details to retrieve the document from the official web portal of SSC, i.e. ssc.nic.in.

  • SSC Eastern Region has issued GD Application Status for Orissa, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, and Andaman & Nicobar Island candidates.
  • SSC North West Region (SSCNWR) has uploaded the GD Constable Admit Card. Candidates from Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh states can download their SSC Admit Card using the direct link at the end of this page.

The commission has accepted online applications for the SSC GD Recruitment from 01 December 2023 to 31 December 2023. Millions of candidates were interested and took part in the application process. Aspirants are not waiting to appear in the selection process of the recruitment drive.

SSC GD Selection Process & Paper Pattern

The applicants will be appointed to the post of Constable GD if they successfully pass all phases of the selection process. Applicants have to appear in 4 phases of the selection process, and then their performance will be analysed for suitability for the vacancies. Selection candidates will be appointed as constables in various defence forces of the country.

  • Computer Based Examination (CBE)
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Physical Standard Test (PST)
  • Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

Computer Based Examination

The candidates will be called to appear in the Computer Based Examination (CBE) in the first phase of the selection process. This examination will be conducted online, and passing it will make candidates eligible to appear in the forthcoming phases of the selection process.

  • There will be 80 MCQ-type questions in the test.
  • Each question will carry 02 marks in weightage.
  • A negative mark of .25 marks will be made for wrong answers.
  • The question will be of Matric level in the test.
  • Candidates will get 60 minutes to solve the test.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

After completing the written examination, aspirants will be called to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). In this test, candidates must clear the race within the given time frame.

  • For Male Candidate  – 5 Kms in 24 minutes.
  • For Female Candidates – 1.6 Kms in 8 minutes 30 seconds.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

The candidates who pass the PET examination must appear in the Physical Standard Test (PST). The authority will select applicants with the physical fitness and standards per the norms of the defence forces.

SC GD Hall Ticket/Call Letter 2024 Details

The candidates will find some crucial information mentioned on the SSC Constable GD Admit Card, and aspirants are also advised to keep it clean and safe till the completion of the recruitment process. The applicants will find details such as the Name & address of the candidate, the name & address of the exam centre, the photo & sign of the candidate, etc.

Applicants will not get entry to the examination centre if they do not carry the required documentation. Carrying a call letter is insufficient; they must bring identity proof and two recent passport-size photographs to the exam hall.

  6. Download and print it to carry it to the exam centre.
  7. Also, check the hall ticket for any mistakes or errors.
